Hendon’s ‘Battle of Britain At Night’ event


The RAF Museum in London has two events taking place next weekend which may of interest to some readers.

The first, on Friday September 15 is a Battle of Britain At Night event – it’s for over-18s only, and tickets cost £14. The evening starts at 6.30pm and will involve dancing, cocktails and open cockpits on some of the museum aircraft. The Tricity Vogue All Girl Swing Band will perform songs from the 1930s and 40s, among other favourites.

The second event is a flypast by a Spitfire and Hurricane from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. This will take place over the museum site on Sunday September 17 at approximately 12.40pm.
