Project in West Sussex seeks 152 Squadron veterans

A project – based at the Wings Museum of Balcombe, West Sussex – is seeking to collate memories from veterans who served with 152 (Hyderabad) Squadron between 1939 to 1967.

Rob Oliver reports: “What started out as a small weekend project years ago turned into something that changed my life and gave me chance to help them find old friends and tell their stories. I’ve funded this project by myself, but I don’t think it’s about the money, it’s about giving back and saying thank you.

“I’m still looking for veterans but as time goes on, it is getting harder, but it’s always nice to help family members, so that their loved ones will always be remembered at the Memorial Hut at the Wings Museum, and on the non-profit website “.
