‘Builder, tester, racer, fighter: Wing Commander Harold Blackburn MC AFC’

Wing Commander Harold Blackburn MC AFC (19 January 1879 – 29 April 1959) was a true British aviation pioneer who was twice decorated for gallantry during WWI. Mike’s talk is a very personal look at his grandfather, who survived the pioneering age of flying from 1909 to 1929 without a scratch.
