DC-3 destined for Dutch theme park

Douglas DC-3 N213GB arrived in The Hague, the Netherlands on October 23. The former US Navy machine – later used commercially for spraying insecticide – was delivered to the Madurodam theme park on several low loaders where it will be reassembled and placed on static display. It already has the park’s logo and the words ‘Madurodam Airport’ applied to both sides of the fuselage. RENÉ J UIJTHOVEN
