Tony Foulds has been campaigning for a flypast to honour the victims of a B-17 Flying Fortress crash in Sheffield. He was eight years old when he witnessed the crash in 1944 and he has been tending a memorial at the site for decades. Now his wish for a flypast has come true. It’ll be happening on February 22, exactly 75 years since the bomber came down with the loss of all 10 crew.
