The Royal Air Force Museum has announced that its visitor figures have risen sharply over the past year. It’s attributing this to the major redevelopment of its London site and a reinvigorated public events programme for the RAF’s centenary at both its London and Cosford bases. In total, 989,593 people visited the RAF Museum from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019. This represents a growth of 39% on the previous year’s figures. The attraction’s London home recorded 544,628 visitors, up a record 59% on the previous year, while its museum at Cosford in Shropshire welcomed 444,965, a leap of 20%.
