Shooting Star’s new colours revealed

The Warbird Heritage Museum in Waukegan, Illinois has completed its restoration of Lockheed T-33A Shooting Star 51-9127. Most of the paintwork was applied last year by Russ Ellis and his team at Positive Painting, with the tail art added recently by Chad Hill at Django Studios. The jet represents a machine of the USAF’s 51 Fighter-Interceptor Wing, 16 Fighter-Interceptor Squadron. www.warbirdheritagefoundation.org PHOTO-TONY SACKETOS
